Description
- Requires a Start conversation to be completed within 3 months.
- This combination package includes an assessment programme for ADHD/ADD combined with the start of medication and includes the necessary tests, interviews, email and telephone follow-up.
- Together with the Initial Counselling, you will in most cases be able to be discharged to your own doctor who will continue the treatment. If more medications need to be tried, for example due to other psychiatric disorders, lack of efficacy or side effects, additional counselling may be required.
- The first conversation is approximately 45 minutes long, while the last four conversations are approximately 20 minutes.
- Phone follow-ups and email are included during the programme. Conversations can be conducted in person, by phone or on video.
- The issuing of any prescriptions is included in the programme. According to the Danish Health Authority's guidelines, prescriptions for stimulant medication must be issued in Hillerød at least every three months.
- At the end of the programme, written information is sent to your GP, who is then responsible for further treatment. General practitioners may not change the choice of medication and dosage without the agreement of a psychiatrist.
